Sapphire optical crystal is an excellent material used in application which required broad spectral ranges and high durability. Sapphire transmits light over a broad wavelength range spanning from 0.15um to 5um, it also has high-temperature resistance up to 2000 ℃, good thermal conductivity, high hardness (Morse 9th) and good chemical stability. Usually Sapphire crystal used in FTIR spectroscopy, FLIR imaging and crystal substrate. especially for blue, purple,white light-emitting diodes (LED) and blue light laser (LD).
